A short flashback when Min Jung was still in high school, she told her teacher that she wanted to become a nurse but her teacher confronted her that it will be hard to enter medical school with her grades but Min Jung is determined, she knew that she could do anything if she put her mind on it just like when she decided to marry Gang Hwa, she quit her job to focus on taking care of Seo Woo.
[Flashback]
Gang Hwa didn't want Min Jung to give up her career and told her that he will take care of Seo Woo while working but Min Jung made up her mind, she asked Gang Hwa to let her be Seo Woo's mom for real.
Min Jung really stop working to be Seo Woo's full-time mom, she wakes up early in the morning to prepare Seo Woo's breakfast, she's too busy taking care of Seo Woo that she didn't even have time to finish her coffee or take care of herself.
“Back then, I was cocky enough to think that there was nothing I couldn’t achieve with effort and passion.” Min Jung narrates.
Although it's not easy, Min Jung enjoys taking care of Seo Woo but the fulfillment she feels quickly fades away after hearing remarks from the other mothers every time she drops Seo Woo to daycare, she hears the other mothers gossip about her saying that she didn't resemble Seo Woo because she isn't Seo Woo's real mom.
“But there is a place in life that I can’t achieve even with my efforts.” Min Jung narrates.
Back to the present
"Hey!" Yu-ri shouted when they get back to the apartment and saw Gang Hwa eating the egg that Seo Woo decorated.
Yu-ri quickly leaves to avoid the awkward situation, Gang Hwa couldn't look at Min Jung's eyes after eating Seo Woo's decorated egg, Min Jung told him that she thinks that Yu-ri's reaction was out of the line but Gang Hwa defended Yu-ri and told Min Jung that he would react the same way if it were him.
The highschoolers quickly ganged up and started throwing eggs toward Hyun Jung but she avoided it in an effortless manner, when it was her turn she hit them one by one and she didn't miss. She managed to make the girls leave and promised her to never return again. Geun Sang is finally brave enough to get out of his car after being saved by Hyun Jung,
Meanwhile, at the Columbarium, The ghosts gather around Sang Bong's mom while she cries visiting her son when Sang Bong appears and chases all the ghosts away. Sang Bong reads the note his mom left at his urn saying that she's sorry.
When Gang Hwa decided to go to sleep, he asks Min Jung how long had she known the pick-up helper and Min Jung told him that it was the same day when he met the pick-up helper at the daycare. Min Jung asks if Gang Hwa wants to replace the pick-up helper because Min Jung knows that it will bother Gang Hwa with how much the pick-up helper resembles Seo Woo's mom but Min Jung also told Gang Hwa that she's somehow drawn to her because of the same reason because she looks like Seo Woo
Min Jung trusted Yu-ri with their apartment's passcode as Seo Woo's pick-up helper that's why when Min Jung leaves, Yu-ri takes the opportunity to put all the food and side dishes she got from home on Min Jung's fridge and of course, her main agenda is to drive away the local ghost that is still lingering around the apartment.
Yu-ri's mom met with Gang Hwa at the nearest cafe from the hospital, Yu-ri's mom confronted Gang Hwa that she learns that Yu-ri is meeting Seo Woo as a pick-up helper and she ask Gang Hwa if Min Jung knows about it but Gang Hwa said that Min Jung doesn't know because Yu-ri asks him not to tell.
Gang Hwa apologizes and said that he will do something about it but Yu-ri's mom told him not to apologize because she understands that Min Jung is now Seo Woo's mom too and it would be wrong to ask Gang Hwa to take Seo Woo away from Min Jung for Yu-ri and that she's glad that Yu-ri can spend time with Seo Woo as her pick-up helper.
Yu-ri delivers the virgin ghost to Ms. Mi-dong, she avoided being scolded by using the virgin ghost to higher Ms. Mi-dong's success rate but Geun Sang's shaman aunt suddenly arrives and the virgin ghost recognized, The ghost quickly runs off and Geun Sang's shaman aunt chases her. Ms. Mi-dong laughs while watching the two running when she remembered the local ghost that Yu-ri's original target and ask Yu-ri about it. Yu-ri told her that she sends the local ghost to a place where a lot of ghosts linger which is Pil-Seung's apartment,
Yu-ri is happily walking towards the daycare with Ms. Mi-dong because she finally succeeded in chasing away the local ghost that keeps on lingering around Gang Hwa's home thinking that Seo Woo will no longer see anymore ghost in the future but Ms. Mi-dong seemed unsure about that, she also told Yu-ri that Seo Woo might end up being like her if she continues on seeing a ghost that Yu-ri firmly opposed. Seo Woo turning to be a shaman-like Ms. Mi-dong is definitely the worst thing for Yu-ri and Ms. Mi-dong looks pained with how Yu-ri reacted.
Yu-ri told Hyun Jung that she's been watching Min Jung before that's why she knows her so well, she told Hyun Jung how Min Jung selflessly takes care of Seo, she never gets upset and always put Seo Woo first that's why she is very grateful for Min Jung.
After Yu-ri received a call from Min Jung, Geun Sang was surprised to see Hyun Jung, Min Jung and Yu-ri gathered together at the bar. He tries to enter but quickly back out to call Gang Hwa.
Min Jung said that she wants to thanks Yu-ri for the side dishes and treat her to a drink because Min Jung figured that Yu-ri and Hyun Jung likes to drink and Yu-ri chuckles and told Min Jung that she likes drinking more. Yu-ri quickly realizes her mistake but thankfully, Min Jung just smiles and nods in agreement.
After a few drinks, the three is already drunk, Min Jung asked Hyun Jung if she makes her uncomfortable but Hyun Jung told her that she is just grateful for her, Hyun Jung then asked if Yu-ri makes Min Jung uncomfortable and Min Jung said that she is just curious just how she is curious about Seo Woo's mom because she couldn't ask Gang Hwa about her.
Gang Hwa didn't know who to take care of first but Hyun Jung told him to quickly take Min Jung, he hesitates at first asking how about Yu-ri but Hyun Jung assured him that she will take care of Yu-ri, Gang Hwa keeps on looking back for Yu-ri while he takes Min Jung home.
Gang-Hwa and Geun-sang talk about what happened last night. While Geun-sang asks about Min-jung, Gang-Hwa seems only concerned about how Yuri got home last night after he left. Geun-sang thinks back to what happened last night after Yuri made it home. He wonders how much the women drank that even Yu-ri become that drunk but Hyun-Jung told him that Yuri wasn’t drunk, and Geun-sang quickly catches on that Yuri was only pretending to be drunk to avoid Gang Hwa.
Dr. Jang wonders why Gang Hwa refuses to sign the petition that he started before, he also wonders why Gang Hwa suddenly accepting treatment when he firmly refuses to get treated before. He wonders if something happened to Gang Hwa that he wasn't aware of.
Meanwhile, While on her way to the market Yu-ri witness an accident that almost the same as how she died, there was a motorcycle approaching an old lady and Yu-ri quickly went to try and save her.
Back to Hyun Jung and Yu-ri's conversation at the Convenience store last night, When Hyun Jung asks Yu-ri if she really doesn't want to live, Yu-ri admits that she does but she doesn't know what to do.
Bruce Lee of Yeouido
Meanwhile, Geun is still stuck inside his car as Sang Bong's angry fans continue to attack him when Hyun Jung arrived from the market and quickly notices the chaos that's happening in front of their shop, she went nearer to see who's being attacked by these angry highschoolers and her eyes widened to discover that it was her husband Geun Sang. She shouted "Hey!" that caught everyone's attention including helpless Gen Sang. “Bruce Lee of Yeouido," Geun Sang gasps watching how Hyun Jung makes her fighting stance, ready to attack his harassers.
[Flashback]
Geun Sang told Hyun Jung that Sang Bong doesn't really have any signs of depression recalling his short encounter with him at the hospital's bathroom when Sang Bong told him to just diagnose him with depression because the baseball club needs it just for show but Geun Sang firmly refuse because it's against the law.
After reading Seo Woo bedtime story and putting her to bed, Gang Hwa sits beside Seo Woo's bed as his minds wander thinking about all the encounter of Yu-ri and Min Jung together, he wonders why Yu-ri seems to know his wife more than he does.
's mom but Gang Hwa reminded her that she's Seo Woo's mom too.
Yu-ri's mom prepares a special breakfast for Yu-ri but when she went to her room, Yu-ri is already gone even the baby clothes that were supposed to be for Seo Woo are all missing too. When Yu-ri's dad opened the fridge, he was shocked to discover an empty fridge.
Meanwhile, at the Columbarium, Ms. Mi-dong and the ghosts hold a ceremony to send off Pan Sek and Chairman Baek together, Ms. Mi-dong suggested that everyone should follow Pan Seok and Chairman Baek but everyone quickly avoids her, Min-Ja told her that she will really come up when things are ok with her son but Ms. Mi-dong grew tired of hearing the same thing that's why she told her to just go up but when she's reaching for her bell it's not inside her bag because Yu-ri stole it again.
Yu-ri quickly spotted the Local ghost and use Ms. Mi-dong's bell to catch him but she was surprised to see another ghost lingering around the apartment and it is a virgin ghost, she's a ghost that dies as a virgin and she sees Gang Hwa as a target to fulfill her desire, she thought it would be easy to seduce Gang Hwa because he's already married but she couldn't possess Min Jung because her aura is too strong.
Gang Hwa keeps his eyes on the ground but Yu-ri's mom told him to raise his head and told him that he shouldn't fix this alone and they should all help to figure it out and find a solution but Gang Hwa still keeps on bowing his head and continues to apologize,
Misaeng
Hyun-Jung is also on her way to the daycare and she gets several messages from the mother's group chat, they are giving out a warning about someone selling fake instructional book materials outside the daycare. Hyun Jung scoffs after reading the messages thinking that there's no one who would fall for that kind of scam anymore but when she arrived, she saw innocent Yuri at the table buying copies of each instructional book material.
Hyun-Jung and Yu-ri take the kids back to the bar, While the kids are busy playing Hyun-Jung did her best to keep her voice down while she interrogates Yuri why is fine with dying again, and Yuri finally confesses that she became a ghost after dying and she has been watching them all this time, Yuri said that she already died anyway that's why she has no regrets anymore and all that she wants to do now is fix the damage she caused and finally move on. Yuri breaks into tears, and Hyun-Jung turns away and tries her best to hide her tears.
Meanwhile, When Yu-ri went home she discovers their fridge full of food and side dishes and she quickly notices the Gosari that Yu-ri especially asked her mom to make, that's why her dad wonders why Yu-ri asked her mom to make Gosari when she didn't like it nor Gang Hwa and it turns out that it was Min Jung's favorite.
Gang Hwa looks surprised when Min Jung told him that the pick-up helper brought them food and side dishes and he watches Min Jung eats the Gosari that Yu-ri brought.
Misaeng
Min Jung confesses that she wanted to become friends with Hyun Jung a long time ago but she figured that Gang Hwa might feel uncomfortable considering that Hyun Jung is Yu-ri's best friend.
“Stepmoms are moms too!” Min Jung yells, she is mad about the idea that all stepmoms are evils just what is portrayed in the children's book, she is clearly drunk because after yelling, her head drops at the bar top. Yuri is quick to catch her head in her hands to soften the blow.
Gang Hwa and Geun Sang arrived and see the two drunk ladies being taken care of already sober Hyun Jung. "Gang Hwa!" Yu-ri shouted upon seeing her ex-husband but it was quickly followed by Min Jung shouting "My husband!" that made Yu-ri quiet down.
At the hospital
Gang Hwa receives a call from Yu-ri, she's crying as she asks for Gang Hwa's help. Gang Hwa panicked when the phone call suddenly ended and the last thing he heard is Yu-ri asking for help.
Gang Hwa runs through the halls of the hospital, and it was just like how he runs on the day of Yuri’s death five years ago.
Last night at the Convenience Store
[Flashback]
A short flashback when Yu-ri is playing with Seo Woo, When Min Jung arrived Seo Woo drops everything and runs to her as she calls her "Mom." Yu-ri looks pained as she watches how Seo Woo loves Min Jung.
“Your place, that I cannot reach. Mom,” Yuri narrates.
