    A story I could not see, episode 13 recap

[flashback ]

A short flashback to Gang Hwa and Yu-ri's happy marriage life jumps to when Yu-ri died and Gang Hwa was left struggling alone.

"The time that has been flowing with us suddenly stop one day," Gang Hwa narrates while he was sitting outside at the park, trying to hold back his tears as he watches a happy couple that reminds him of his late wife, he sat there looking pitiful without even knowing that ghost Yu-ri is beside him all along.

"Time stopped for the person I love because of me, I prayed that it would start flowing again." Yu-ri narrates

Hyun Jung told Gang Hwa to start dating again, she urges him to date that nurse (which is Min Jung) but Gang Hwa looked like he has no plans of doing so, and asked Hyun Jung instead why is she telling him to date when she is Yu-ri's friend but Hyun Jung told him that she knows that Yu-ri wants the same thing.

And Yu-ri indeed wants to see Gang Hwa happy again as she trailed behind him while he stares at his phone hesitating to call Min Jung or not but ended up not doing so that made Yu-ri irritated and calls him an idiot.

Back to the present

Gang Hwa goes running back to Yu-ri's house and saw her outside, Yu-ri was puzzled seeing Gang Hwa's expression but she quickly breaks into tears when Gang Hwa repeatedly told her that she saw everything as he cries himself. Gang Hwa drops on his knees and repeatedly said that he's sorry to Yu-ri.

Hyun Jung and Geun Sang are talking about their encounter with Gang Hwa earlier when he abruptly came to drop Seo Woo before coming back to Yu-ri's house, Gang Hwa already knows Yu-ri's secret and accused Hyun Jung of keeping it from him this whole time. While discussing Gang Hwa, Min Jung suddenly walk into the bar that startled the couple. 

Min Jung was clueless about what is happening, she went there to check Gang Hwa and Seo Woo's whereabouts because she couldn't get a hold of Gang Hwa through the phone but Hyun Jung is quick to make an alibi.

She told Min Jung that Gang Hwa and Geun Sang was supposed to go out with the kids but her son didn't want to be separated from her that's why Seo Woo, Gang Hwa, and Geun Sang went on their own that explains why Min Jung saw her with her son today and that erased Min Jung's suspicions that Gang Hwa lied to him. Geun Sang told Min Jung that Gang Hwa left Seo Woo there because he received an emergency call from the hospital.

"Weren't you hurt watching me live a happy life without you?" Gang Hwa emotionally asked Yu-ri and she answered him with all honesty that she's hurt to see him live happily even if it's not with her but nothing hurts her, even more, every time she sees Gang Hwa living alone and miserable. Gang Hwa still blames himself and told Yu-ri that he should've just endured it but Yu-ri told him that he endures enough and it's not his fault. Gang Hwa buries his face as he cries in his hands and Yu-ri reaches out her hand to pat Gang Hwa's back but later pulls back. 

"I'm not your person anymore, you can let me go," she says.

Yu-ri thought that it was Hyun Jung who told Gang Hwa about her secret but it turns out that Gang Hwa find it out from a guy dressed in black and claimed to be Yu-ri's friend. Yu-ri panicked upon hearing that from Gang Hwa and ask him where is Seo Woo but she calms down when Gang Hwa assured her that Seo Woo is safe with Hyun Jung and Geun Sang. Gang Hwa was confused about how Yu-ri reacted that's why Yu-ri is left with no choice but to confess that Seo Woo is seeing ghosts because she's been sticking with Seo Woo ever since she's born and that is the aftermath. Gang Hwa recalls the time Seo Woo put a sticker on their family picture and refer it as the pretty auntie, Yu-ri cried and repeatedly apologize to Gang Hwa and blames herself, although shocked Gang Hwa still to maintain his composure and still tries to comfort Yu-ri and assure her that it's not her fault.

Gang Hwa is too pre-occupied after having that talk with Yu-ri that he didn't even notice Min Jung at Hyun Jung's place when he went back to pick up Seo Woo. Min Jung called his name that made him realize that Min Jung is standing behind him, he holds Seo Woo so tightly but gently as well. Min Jung stares at him as if she knew that something happened to Gang Hwa.

Gang Hwa didn't leave Seo Woo's side, he sleeps beside her while holding her near and Min Jung stops at the door and decide not to open Seo Woo's room and just stand quietly at the door, sighting.

Meanwhile, Yu-ri cried all night but still tried to cover her sobs so her family wouldn't notice. 

The next morning, Yu-ri's mom went to the temple to pray while Yu-ri bangs Ms. Mi-dong's door early in the morning, she was furiously searching for that bastard exorcist for messing with her child. From afar Pil-Seung ghosts family is watching and was worried about Yu-ri's child being taken away by the exorcist.

"Your daughter can stop seeing ghosts, don't worry, and just trust me," Ms. Mi-dong said looking determined to find a solution for Yu-ri, for now, she told Yu-ri to make the most of her remaining days so she won't regret anything. 

Ms. Mi-dong and Yu-ri run to Yu-ri's who just came out from the temple and she quickly recognizes Ms. Mi-dong as the shaman that told her before that her daughter's soul is just roaming around and she looked puzzled upon seeing Ms. Mi-dong with her daughter. Yu-ri explains to her mom that Ms. Mi-dong is a friend of hers and lied that she's been friends with her even before the accident that's why she knew that Yu-ri came back from the dead.

Gang Hwa is still glued to Seo Woo, he even insisted to drop Seo Woo to school but before they leave, Min Jung brought up the topic about the pick-up helper. Min Jung demanded a reason why they should get a different pick-up helper because she will still keep Yu-ri if Gang Hwa wouldn't give any reason, Gang Hwa looked like he's finally ready to tell Min Jung everything that's why she told Min Jung to meet later at the hospital and he will tell her why they should get another pick-up helper.

Yu-ri went to drop by at Hyun Jung's shop when she ran to Geun Sang, she saw Sang Bong lingering around Geun Sang, she told Geun Sang what he had been up to these days for him to attract a ghost that automatically freaked out Geun Sang.

Meanwhile, at the daycare, the other moms started gossiping again upon seeing Gang Hwa drop Seo Woo at school, one mother told the others that she saw Gang Hwa and the kitchen working crying together at the park last night.

At the hospital, Dr. Jang told Gang Hwa to face his fears and observe one of the scheduled surgeries so he could overcome his trauma but Gang Hwa seems like he wasn't still ready.

At Hyun Jung's shop, she was trying to scold Yu-ri and Min Jung for making her shop looks like a mom cafe because they drop by and stay there anytime they want but Min Jung just smile and said that she loves it that she finally has a place in the neighborhood where she can stop by. Before leaving, she left Seo Woo to Yu-ri and told her that they can have a good time this afternoon because she knows how Yu-ri is fond of Seo Woo. Before going out she looked back one last time and asked Yu-ri and Hyun Jung if they're really her friends now and the two answered her yes with a smile but their smile slowly fades when Min Jung went out because they feel guilty for lying to Min Jung. 

Hyun Jung blames herself for encouraging Gang Hwa to get remarry but Yu-ri told her that she did the right thing and it was her that should be blamed for coming back and getting caught that made everything become a mess. 

Min Jung saw a street vendor selling cute befriend bracelets and she immediately thought of Hyun Jung and Yu-ri, she couldn't help but smile while buying them, she was about to leave when one of the moms approached her. 

One of the neighborhood mom told her that she's actually on her side that's why she feels like it's just right to tell her about Gang Hwa's affair with the kitchen worker but Min Jung just scoff because she couldn't believe that they are making groundless rumors now, she immediately dismisses her and told her to stop spreading such silly rumors before she walks away.

Yu-ri and her father are enjoying playing with Seo Woo at the park, Yu-ri told her father to watch Seo Woo while she buys them water to drink. Yu-ri's father was happily babysitting Seo Woo when he got distracted when an elderly woman dragging a cart accidentally falls to the ground, he told Seo Woo to just stay sitting for a minute while he helps the elderly woman but after helping the elderly woman he looked back to where Seo Woo at but she's no longer there.

Seo Woo saw a bunch of kids and followed them until she was lost. 

Gang Hwa was about to tell Min Jung everything but when he arrived at the cafe where they were supposed to meet, Min Jung looked panicked and rushing to go somewhere, and when Gang Hwa asked why she could only say Seo Woo's name.

It's already dark and Gang Hwa and Min Jung are desperately searching for Seo Woo, Min Jung is shaking and couldn't stop crying as well as Yu-ri.

"How could you lost her!" Min Jung shouted at Yu-ri and all Yu-ri did is apologize repeatedly, Gang Hwa is hugging Min Jung to comfort her but his eyes is on Yu-ri as if he wanted to also comfort her and assure her that it's not her fault.

Yu-ri saw a ghost kid that guide her to where Seo Woo is, Gang Hwa and Min Jung followed her when they heard her crying Seo Woo's name. They found her at one of the slides and Min Jung told Yu-ri that she doesn't want to see her right now before going home with Seo Woo. Gang Hwa told Yu-ri that Min Jung didn't mean what she said because she was just shaken and it's okay before offering to bring Yu-ri home but she declined and told him that it's not okay and he's not okay.

Pil-Seung's family is riding Pil-Seung's car when they saw Seo Woo crying on the street while the exorcist Guk Bong is walking towards her. They immediately went to save Seo Woo, Pil-Seung's father distracted Guk bong while Pil-Seung's mom and sister lured Seo Woo to one of the slides so she wouldn't be seen by Guk Bong but unfortunately, 

Guk Bong caught Pil-Seung's family and threaten to send them off if they will not tell where they hide Seo Woo.

Yu-ri didn't want to worry her family if they see her crying that's why she went to Ms. Mi-dong's place and had a little catch-up with her ghost friends. Yu-ri told Ms. Mi-dong that she realizes now that she coming back to life was not a blessing but a punishment because she made everyone around her unhappy when she came back.

Gang Hwa joins Min Jung in the living room after putting Seo Woo to sleep, he tries to comfort Min Jung and told her that it's not her fault but Min Jung snapped and told him that anything that happened to a child is the mother's fault so why is Gang Hwa always tell her that it isn't her fault as if she's not Seo Woo's mother. And Min Jung is also tired of hearing Gang Hwa says that it's okay when it's not, she's tired of walking on an eggshell whenever it's about her first wife, she told Gang Hwa that he needs to open that door to Min Jung because that's the only way she could truly be Seo Woo's mother.

Gang Hwa turns to her after a long pause and finally told her that the pick-up helper is Yu-ri, his late wife Yu-ri.
