La Luna Sangre: Death of a seer, episode 97 recap
Samantha approached Barang quietly, determinedly. It was imperative that she contain Barang because she could be a major factor that will help Supremo annihilate the human race and she couldn't allow that. Still, there was hesitation in her decision for she was the person that help reared her along with her father, Magnus Imperial.
"What are you going to do? Are you going to kill me?" She challenged her.
Looking down at her, Samantha's lips pursed. "Kinakailangan kong gawin ito upang hindi ka na makapinsala pa."
Barang's face contorted in anger, she glared at her. "Anong klaseng kapatid ka! Ginagawa mo ito para muling pasakitan si Sandrino!"
Samantha ignored Barang's accusatory words and walked towards the lone casket that was sitting at the center of the room. With her back towards Barang, she looked at if she was hesitating, debating on the merits of what she was going to do.
"Sinasabi mo lang na para sa kabutihan ang ginagawa mo pero hindi ba papatay ka para makuha mo ang hangarin mo? You claimed to be the force of good but you will do the same evil deed as we does. Or are you going to say the end doesn't justify the means?" She shot the words as if they were blasphemy.
Samantha didn't rise to the bait, instead she threw the cover on the casket in one sweeping motion as if she was angry at Barangs words. After a full minute of looking at the shining surface of the cold casket, she addressed Barang in a deadly, quiet voice. "Dito kita ihihimlay."
Barang's eyes rounded slightly at the sight of the casket and at Samantha's voice. But her mind was still spinning with possibilities, still fighting.
"Ginagawa mo ba ito dahil hindi kita binigyan ng sapat na attention katulad ng ginawa ko kay Sandrino?" She shot in the dark, trying to dent Samantha's armour.
It seemed as if Barang struck a cord. She smiled inwardly, triumphantly as she felt the emotions stirring in Samantha's chest.
Barang thought as she calculated her next moves.
"Anak, patawarin mo ako..." she implored. "Patawarin mo ako kung hindi ko nagawang mahalin ka katulad ng pagmamahal ko kay Sandrino..."
If possible, Samantha grew even stiffer. Emotions kept on surging into her as tears started to glaze into her slanted eyes. Almost, Barang seemed to dancing with glee as she focused on Samantha's ramrod, stiff back.
She held out her hand, "anak...kahit sa huling sandali...maaari bang mayakap ka?" There was a convincing catch in her voice. And Samantha's conviction wavered as she cried openly, brokenly.
Finally, she turned. Her eyes seeking forgiveness as she stared at Barang. "Patawad, Ina." Still, her mind was made up as she walked towards her. Still looking into her eyes, and with her own eyes blurred with tears, she leaned towards her for a last embrace.
Barang watched like a cornered rat. And as Samantha's face went nearer, she lunged for an attack.
And Samantha screamed in agony as Barang's fangs pierced into her.
Barang released Samantha with a hiss. She watched joyously, laughing like a crazed woman as Samantha swayed in the air as if suddenly became paper-weighted, screaming as if she was falling in a pit.
She started to disintegrate, her body turned into ashes. And she was gone.
Barang started her incantations as soon as Samantha's body turned into ashes. Each foreign words delivered in a fierce and emotion-laden staccato of prayer.

Meanwhile, Samantha started flash into different places, searching for Barang.
"Wala siya dito." Samantha blurted out in trepidation, aware of the danger that the seer represents lest she escape.
⟲ Barang ⟳
Gleeful and moving in trepidation, Barang looked for the exit. It lead her into a huge empty hallway.
And as she was walking to the exit, a red cape suddenly floated above her. She looked up at the cape, stilled into motion as it swayed gently around her.
Then, it settle on the cold, marble floor. And her mouth firmed at it revealed Jacintha in the red cape. She glared at her, antagonism in her eyes. "I knew it!"
Triumphant at her discovery, she started to walk in circles, giving Jacintha a wide berth but analyzing her opponent as well. "Surely, Sandrino will believe me now na ikaw si Lia at pinaglalaruan mo lang siya!" She declared venomously.
"Yun ay kung makakalabas ka pa dito." Jacintha answered softly.
Then, the duel started. Jacintha started to move gracefully, like in dancing motion, she disappeared only to reappeared on Barang's side. Barang evaded her extended claws, her own hands forming as she lunged forward. But it was thin air she hit. She whirled around the room, looking for her.
There was an element of surprise when Jacintha appeared too close for comfort, fear started to enter Barang's eyes. Ultimately, she was cloaked inside Jacintha's red cape and it served as a prison that she couldn't escape. There was real fear in her eyes as she couldn't move inside the darkened cell.
Jacintha appeared out of nowhere, her dark eyes the colors of the werewolf and her fangs was revealed.
And Barang became a rabbit in front of it's prey. There was no escape, there was no reprieve. Only death.
"Hindi ikaw si Lia..." Barang blurted out as her body started disintegrating. Her cries echoed around the room.
And it was too late as Samantha was finally able to locate the exact location where she put Barang. She was almost running as she went inside the room. Her eyes rounded, her heart almost stopped beating as she had the luxury of time to watch Barang disintegrating.
Her eyes transfixed on the sight. The silent echoes of her pain went unnoticed.
Throughout, Jacintha was silent, coldly aware but her eyes was far away. Then, silence reigned in as Barangs last remnants was gone. She addressed Samantha in her silent, slow tones. "Ginawa ko na para sa'yo. Mukhang hindi mo kayang patayin si Barang."
Then, she turned to her. Her unblinking eyes taking in the pain in other woman's eyes. "Nagsisimula ka nang paghinain ng emosyon mo, mag ingat ka baka ikapahamak mo."
And Samantha could only look at her, unable to say anything. She was still silent as Jacintha walked out, leaving her alone to grieve.
