La Luna Sangre: Heartbreak, episode 98 recap
Tristan doesn't know but he was not convinced of Greta's true nature when she inadvertently came to visit his family that day. He couldn't put a finger into it but he felt something was off with her. For one, she looked different. And another thing was that she was acting different from Greta that he used to know.
So, Tristan was having suspicion that Greta had been converted to a vampire. He shared his speculations and concern to Patrick as they was walking on the street's alleyway.
Coincidentally, they saw Greta talking to one of their town's people. They hid behind the shadowed column of the light post and waited lest she will reveal herself as one of the vampire. And true enough, they were shocked to discover that she was indeed a vampire when alone, she disappeared like a flash.
And so, thinking of helping Greta to side with the good cause, Tristan and his friends solicited the help of the seer, Star.
Although star had led them a merry dance while trying to find the exact location of Greta and her family, it was a sheer chance that Kuto passed by and they was able to get the information they needed.
⟲ LLU HQ ⟳
Malia and the others was not slowing down on getting any information regarding Jacintha Magsaysay. Though, their mission was never pushed back in the background, the need to know the truth behind the latter's identity was uppermost in the Chosen One's mind.
Fortunately, Baristo arrived from his sojourn to collect more allies. And Malia was finally able to confide her deepest feelings while listening to Baristo's ever wise advices. Having her father by her side, she was able to calm the storm that surging inside her heart.
⟲ Moonchasers' HQ ⟳
And in the middle of chaotic lives of vampires, werewolves and humans, Samantha's heart was breaking. She looked into the photographs of her family. Tears started to flow uncontrollably from her soulful eyes as she smoothens the old photos with her shaking fingers.
She was filled with bittersweet memories of the past long gone as she outlived the oldest and most powerful vampires.
To Barang she asked for forgiveness. She thought of the same person that nurtured her during the times that she was struggling with her father's mistaken aspirations to empower the human kind.
And she wept some more as she held the photographs against her bosom, her heart was not beating but the emotions raced through her and couldn't not be contained.
⟲ Greta ⟳
Meanwhile, Tristan and the others was able to locate Greta in a nearby hospital. Immediately, they engaged in a fight.
However, Tristan was not able to fought her with his usual skill and vigor.
He went on defensive as Greta aggressively fought him like a crazed vampire. He held out his stick to parried Greta's attack. She screamed as her hands started to burn. Momentarily dazed with Tristan's weapon, she swayed. He took the opportunity to lunged at her and he knock her on the ground.
Greta somersaulted and her hand formed a claw ready to slash back. But she hesitated when Patrick and the others began circling her. She slowly backed away, glaring at them like a cornered hyena.
And Patrick reprimanded Tristan when it was obvious that he allowed her to escape.
⟲ Supremo's Den ⟳
Supremo's vampire readied themselves for their initial terror attack to the Moonchaser's family. This will be their first mission as new vampires and they were excited as well elated at the importance of their assignment.
The country's halloween season provide a feasible cloak and dagger as the need to disguise themselves was not necessary. They ambled through the noisy streets of Manila and went straight to their targets.
And the busy people of Manila was oblivious to the coming terror that the vampires intent to inflict on innocent civilians.
They easily and unobtrusively entered inside Tristan's home and started attacking Betty. Betty's shout of fright was drowned by the gay laughters and mirthful banter that was happening outside their home. She had no defence when the vampire easily contained her struggles and bit harshly at her neck. However, none of the expected response was elicited when a vampire bit on her victim's neck.
The vampire screamed and staggered back. Her comrades looked at her confusedly when she looked as if she was dying. And they trailed at her when she disappeared from the scene of terror.
"Arrg!! Nakakasuka ang dugo ng babaeng yon! May kung ano sa dugo niya."
"Anong sinasabi mo?" One of the vampires asked confusedly.
"Parang sinusunog ang lalamunan ko!"
"Baka naman nagkakamali ka lang?"
"Hindi ako nagbibiro. Hindi ako magloloko sa isang bagay na katulad nito!"
Finally, Tristan arrived home to find Betty sitting on the family sofa in a sombre mood.
"Tita, kamusta ka na?" Tristan inquired worriedly.
"Okay lang ako," Betty looked irritated at him. "Tristan, paano kung nandito ang mga lolo at lola mo? Mapapahamak sila." She looked at him in quiet anger.
"Tita, wag kang magalala. Hinding-hindi ako makakapayag na may mangyaring masama sa inyo." He vowed to her.
⟲ Supremo's Den ⟳
The day was not over yet when Greta returned to Supremo's Den. Recognizing Greta's importance to his cause and sensing the darkness that surround her, Supremo started to talk to her. He asked her about her heart's most desired.
"Greta, what do you want the most?"
With unblinking cold eyes, Greta looked at the Supremo. "Revenge."
