Till I Met You: Meet Basti; Love at first glance episode 4 recap

  The moment Ali met Basti in the Athens Intenational Airport, he seemed to have forgotten Iris or he was just excited to finally meet his long time friend after so many years.

   They checked out at the airport, Iris kept quiet as she single-handedly managed their luggage out in the arrival area while the two boys trailed behind her, intent on their conversations.

    At the parking lot,  they almost forgotten about her or Basti pretended to do so.

   Even inside the van, she was still left out in the conversations.

   Basti offered to let them taste some of the country's famous sandwich. While eating, Iris tried to start a conversation by asking Basti about him. "Basti, gaano ka na katagal sa Greece?"

     "I was born here-"

    Ali cut him off in his haste to fill-in Iris the full details. "He was born here. His Mother was Greek who died when he was only eight years old. His father is Pinoy who was living on the other islands in Greece. A few years back, he ran away from his father that's why that subject is a taboo for him."

     "Wow, ganun pala kayo ka close. Hindi ako na inform," her tone was acerbic but the two boys just laughed it off. "Eh, kung paano siya matulog alam mo?" She added sarcastically.

    Iris was no more than irked when Basti asked her to have their pictures taken.

   The two men seemed to be having a good time together, leaving her out in the process.

The next day...

  
   At the Radisson Hotel, Iris immediately embarked on her student program where she began her on the job training as a hotel staff.

   Ali also started as kitchen helper but he got a rough start when his head chef did not like his brand of cooking. He bowed his head as the head chef threw his spoon away in anger and demanded to him. "What is this? This tastes horrible."

     "Sir, I just followed a recipe." Ali's answer seemed to anger the chef more as he asked him, "is this what you are going to serve the customers?"

     "I'm sorry..."

    "May isang pagkakataon ka na lang." He warned him. "Now, I don't wanna see you, go!"

   Because of his Chef's direct order, Ali had the rest of the day earlier than scheduled. Basti, who just arrived after a tour with the hotel's guests, saw him outside and approached him.

    After learning that the rest of the day was free for Ali, Basti offered to teach him how to ride a motorcycle and they drove around the city.

     In one of the local resort, they sat and drank ouzo, (Greek alcoholic drink).

   Ali confided in him on what happened at his internship and regarding his head Chef.

After a while...

   Basti and Ali arrived at the Radisson hotel just in time for Iris' work time out. She freaked out when she saw Ali riding the motorcycle with Basti. "Ali!  Anong ginagawa mo d'yan? Bumaba ka nga dyan!" She commanded him loudly in front of the hotel.

   "Iris, I'm safe and it's not that dangerous." Ali gently told her but Iris was having none of it and again commanded him to get off the bike.  

    "Ali, sige na bumaba ka na baka magalit pa ang Nanay mo." Basti said to Ali tongue in cheek. The two men laughed softly while Iris, hearing his remark just pursed her lips in vexation. Then with a salute to her, Basti sped away with his monster motorcycle.
