Dolce Amore: Paranoid episode 119 recap
Finally, Serena agreed to have a date with River Cruz. And now that she agreed, Simon was being paranoid about Serena and River Cruz. He started to have thoughts that the two can have a real romantic date.
His head seemed to be exploding.
He called Serena to check on her and also the state of her interest towards River Cruz. Then he ordered his assistant to arranged a date for him and make reservations the same as River's.
Simon learned that River cancelled his previous reservation at the posh restaurant where he was currently having dinner with some random girl from his x-files. Then, he also found out that the girl was his previous relationship and she told him that River was a maniac, thus inflaming his paranoia.
It turned out that River brought Serena to meet his grandparents.
Serena were having a great time talking to River's grand parents during dinner. She listened to some amusing anecdotes of River's childhood, courtesy of course of his grand parents.
Then she was interrupted by Simon's incessant calling.
Serena has to turn off her mobile phone just to have it stopped, much to Simon's chagrin.
After what seems to be forever...
Simon cannot sleep even if he willed himself to it, he was having wayward thoughts in regards to Serena and River. He can't seem to get it out of his mind the fact that the two must have been having a great time.
One minute before midnight, River delivered Serena in their home. Senora Luciana and Senor Roberto were waiting for her and they gently commented that River was punctual. River smiled to them and said goodnight to them as they went inside first.
"I had a great time, Serena. I hope this will not be the last. I-I want to see you again." River said as he gazed in her eyes. Serena smiled widely and nodded, "of course."
Once inside, Serena's parents commented that someone was very happy that night. Then they were alarmed when out of the blue, tears gathered in Serena's eyes. Instead of answering their concerned query, she said that they need to retire for the night.
Alone in her own room, Serena sat on her bed and took her old picture with Simon inside her bedside cabinet.
"We were so happy and now ang hirap nang abutin ang mga ngiti mo. Tama nga si Nanay Taps, kailangan kitang tulungan para matupad ang mga ipinangako mo nang sa ganoo baka mawala na ang galit sa puso mo. Tutulungan kita hindi para magkabalikan tayo, kung hindi para maibalik ang ngiti sa mukha mo."
The next morning...
The next morning, Serena and River were summoned at the Dubois office to discussed about Villa Marchesa and Cruz's property. Coincidentally, Serena met River on the hallway and they passed Simon on their way to the stairs.
"River," Simon called loudly. "Yes?" River said as he guided Serena to his side.
"Magkasama kayo?" Simon address River, ignoring Serena who looked beautiful and fresh even the late night they had.
"Yes, excited ulit kayo akong makita si Serena," River answered smilingly. Simon was visibly upset as he coldly offered his service elevator. "No, thank you, we are just going to take the stairs." River said, it was evident that he wanted to spend sometime alone with Serena.
"I insist." Simon said as a matter of fact. "No, its ok-" River was cut off with Simon's "I INSISTS." Simon said forcefully that River has no option but to stepped inside the elevator with Serena.
There was an awkward moment as the elevator door closed.
Then after a minute, River made a comment to Serena about the game they had the night before. Serena responded and before long, they were laughing at the inside jokes both of them could only understand, excluding the already simmering Simon.
