Dolce Amore: ExDeal, a meeting or a date? episode 116 recap

Dolce Amore: ExDeal, a meeting or a date? episode 116 recap

Julio, the person responsible for placing the bomb under the Ibarra's jeep that caused Binggoy's death were being interrogated by Simon and his lawyers. Julio told them the story on how Senor Favio and his henchmen captured and suffered their beatings that he almost died.

He also relayed them a story on how Senora Luciana came just in time to stop Senor Favio before they can kill him. He also shared the moment he heard Senora Luciana telling Senor Favio who passed about making sure that she was not involved.

The next day, the arraignment for Binggoy's case were held at the city trial court. The Marchesa and the Ibarra were present in the hearing.

Serena excused herself and went to the ladie's restroom to pray for her Mother. Simon followed her and as soon as he saw her alone inside, he shut the door to allow them some privacy. Serena had her eyes closed while praying and then, her eyes flew open when she heard the door was shut with a soft bang. She started when she saw Simon in front of her. But she immediately got angry and berated him for it.

She tried to walked past him to get out but Simon caught both of her arms and forced her to hear him out. "One date at sa'yo na ang Villa Marchesa," Simon said to her.

Serena looked like she couldn't believe that she's hearing it from Simon. After the incredulity, came anger. she told him, "lahat ba talaga gagawin mo para makuha ang gusto mo? Wala kang pakielam kung ano at sino ang masasagasaan mo or masasktan mo. How could you sink that low?"

"Just one night with River Cruz, mahirap ba 'yon?" Simon asked, his voice low. Serena answered with freezing voice, "you are being ridiculous and I refused to dignify your offer with an answer!" With that, she walked off and left him.

Meanwhile, while Serena and Simon were out, Tatay Dodoy, Nanay Taps and the Ibarra gang took the opportunity to talk to Senora Luciana and Senor Roberto. Their conversation were light-hearted and all were smiling as opposed to the stark coldness of the court room.

After awhile, the judge came and Senora Luciana pleaded not guilty.

After they all went home...

After Serena got home, she called River Cruz and she asked him for a meeting.

River Cruz was so happy that he must be floating in cloud nine.

However, it was not a date, it was clear from Serena's set expression as she looked at the smiling and excited River Cruz when he arrived at the restaurant. Arm's crossed and with eyes shooting daggers at him, Serena told him about Simon's proposition and she told him in no nonsense manner of what she thought of their low manipulation just to get a date from her.

River tried to defend himself by stating that he did not know any of Simon's plans or moves but admitted that he really want to spend the time with her, hence the date. He also told her his deal with Simon and her as a prize. After telling him what she thought about that, Serena walked off.

The next morning...

Serena and her parents talked about how the situation of Villa Marchesa were affecting them all. Senor Roberto was commenting on how the heat in the country affects his body and her Mother's involvement in Simon's revenge.

And the Marchesa decided to let go of the Villa and they subsequently called their assistant to relay their decision to Simon Dubois.

What happened next...

The day after their decision to let go of the Villa Marchesa, Senora Luciana was smiling gently as she received two dozens of gorgeous red roses from the courier service. "These flowers are not for me, they are for Serena." Senora Luciana softly exclaimed when her husband commented that she seemed so happy because of the flowers. Serena was deeply askance while fishing for the note that is inside the bouquet of roses. Then she looked at her parents with dismay, "it's from Tenten."
