La Luna Sangre - Chasing Dreams, episode 95 recap

La Luna Sangre: Chasing Dreams, episode 95 recap

The camera started rolling and Gilbert Imperial was in his element. He thrived on creating a gentle, integrity-driven and conscientious persona as he effortlessly charmed the crowd. The air inside the studio was full of warmth and a cheerios from excited women as they waited the program to start.

He smiled at the crowd as if he didn't feel the contempt on the lowly individuals that almost put him on the pedestal, unknowingly ignorant on his evil plans to the country.

And Jacintha was not impressed. In fact, to those who dared to look closely under her facade of cool sophistication, you'll notice the contempt that kept on simmering in the surface.

But that's not the case with Barang who suddenly appeared in the center of audience seat to applaud and cheered for her "son". She was there to concoct another ploy to expose Jacintha out of her lies and to help Supremo wake up from his trance.

Meanwhile, having been successful in compelling the security guard outside the studio, Malia went inside but was barred from entering the actual show room. So, she contented herself on watching at the monitor from the producer's room.

⟲ Jacintha's Plight ⟳

However, in the middle of the interview, Cheska suddenly talked about the person that saved him from death the day Senator Paglinauan shot Gilbert Imperial. Unwittingly, the host requested the lady to be named and presented before the national television. To say the least, Jacintha was flabbergasted at the sudden turn of events. It was so unexpected that she was uncharacteristically rattled.

Throughout the chaos that surrounded Jacintha, Gilbert maintained a silent composure as the host prodded him to name his savior. But he demured and merely said that she was his political strategist.

Too late! Jacintha made a move to stop the direction which the interview was taking. However, before she could take any action, she was suddenly blinded with a great white light focused on her. She stopped short, she was unable to escaped that spotlight that shone on her.

And Malia who was watching the interview was dazed. Her mouth pursed, she looked closely. The lady looked uncannily like her mother!

After a while, Jacintha was able to escape the 15 minutes fame and approached the producer angrily. She demanded that particular portion to be cut from the interview, However, she was refused point blank but respectfully.

"Hindi kasama sa pinagusapan na kasama ako sa interview." Jacintha grated. "Tanggalin nyo ang portion na kasama ako." She demanded.

"I'm sorry, Ms. Magsaysay pero hindi na po namin magagawa 'yon."

Jacintha narrowed her eyes on the show's producer, she felt something was amiss with her response. She leaned forward and subjected the producer with her inimical gaze. "Sino ang nagutos sa'yo na ilabas ang video tape?"

However, before she could answer, Jacintha felt a presence on her back. Her eyes slanted sideways and turned to face the culprit. Sure enough, it was Barang.

"Did you like the special presentation?" Barang greeted as soon as she got closer to her. The producer had since slipped away and they were alone in the burning confrontation.

"Hindi kasama sa pinagusapan na ilantad ako sa show." Jacintha reiterated firmly.

"Bakit? Ayaw mo bang ipakita ang mukha mo sa lahat ng tao?" She demanded.

"Anong ibig mong sabihin?" Jacintha shot.

Barang stopped smiling and looked at her with cold, cold eyes. "Hinding-hindi ko makakalimutan ang mukha ng itinakdang lobo."

At that, Jacintha looked at her with an air of dangerous stillness.

"Anong nangyayari dito?" Gilbert entered the scene with a frown.

"Gilbert, pwede bang pakisabi sa kanya na tigilan ako sa mga sinasabi nya?" Jacintha addresses Gilbert as she subjected Barang with her unblinking stare.

"I'm sorry, Jacintha. Protective lang talaga siya pagdating sa akin. Siya nga pala si Barang, ang tumatayong ina ko." Gilbert answered humbly.

"Nagkita na kami." Jacintha said repressively. Barang lifted her head, certain that Jacintha will be implicated right then and there.

"Sa Youtopia." Jacintha continued without removing her gaze at Barang, not giving an inch.

Barang scoffed disbelievingly.

Irked, Jacintha raised her voice a notch. "Kanina pa niya sinasabi na ako si Lia. Sino ba si Lia?"

"Oh, c'mon. Why don't you admit na you're Lia?" Barang demanded.

"You know what? I'm done with this." Jacintha announced as Barang merely looked at her challengingly. "I'll be going to the communications manager." She said to Gilbert and left without backward glance.

⟲ Moonchasers' HQ ⟳

It's all set, Professor T. tested the serum he created on himself and it was pretty successful. What he created was a serum that will convert a human blood unappealing to a vampire so that once a human was bitten, it will create a reaction that will make a vampire's stomach turn.

And so, as a vampire, Samantha tried it herself and it was effective.

⟲ Studio ⟳

After the interview, Gilbert was accompanied with some of the show's executive. They acted like some adoring fans and was irritated when his attention was caught by a girl asking about Jacintha Magsaysay.

"Bakit mo hinahanap si Ms. Magsaysay?" He asked pleasantly to the girl who was speaking urgently to one of the staffs.

And it turned out to be Malia and her eyes rounded in surprised as she was nearly caught by the Supremo. Immediately, she arranged her features to have a semblance of a smile, turned to him with a big one and acted like a fan. "Isa po kasi ako sa mga scholars nyo, hinahanap ko lang po si Ms. Magsaysay kasi late na po ako sa interview." She fabricated.

Gilbert smiled benignantly at her, placed a hand on her shoulders which she tried not to cringed as he smiled at his adoring fans. "Isa pala sa mga natulungan ng programa ko." He said unnecessarily.

⟲ Supremo's Den ⟳

Meanwhile, Supremo has a new right-hand vampire and new recruits in his den. They were involved and focused on another bout of training that day, preparing for their next mission; to kill all the Moonchasers and their family.

But Supremo made it a point that they need to take particular attention to Greta and train her to be the strongest vampire of them all.

So, thus, her training was well spent. Their was a focused drive and dark emotions around Greta as she fought and trained with her fellow vampires. Her energy was focused on a sole reason; to avenge her mother and daughter's death.

⟲ The Chase ⟳

In the interim, frustrated with the sudden turn of events, Jacintha went to her car without her usual cool. She called Samantha on the road while driving carefully, relaying to her the events that happened with Barang. And it was not long before she notices that someone was following her.

It was Malia who was driving the car that was following Jacintha for some time, her eyes not daring to leave the sight of the car that she was driving, lest she lose her.

However, at the intersection she was taken off guard when the car made a 180 degrees turn and stopped, forcing her to hit the brakes and watched the driver with rounded eyes.

And just like any normal person, Jacintha get off her vehicle, went in front of the other car and demanded angrily. "Sino ka at bakit mo ako sinusundan?"
