La Luna Sangre: Save and Retreat, episode 113 recap

The young Moon Chasers were silent as they stood staring at the mysterious woman wearing the red cape. They thought that the woman in red cape was Samantha. And Samantha was dead. So, who was she? Those are the questions that was starting to burn in their eyes as Jacintha surveyed them in silence, noting the varying emotions that went and gone into their faces.

Professor T. broke the silence, "who are you and why are you here?" There was recognition in his face as he looked at her familiar features. However, just like everyone else who knew Lia, the Chosen One and Punong Bantay, he was filled with incredulity and disbelief since the Lia they knew was dead more than fourteen years ago.

"Kailangan ko na makipagtulungan sa inyo." She said simply, not bothering to ease their curiosity at her sudden appearance.

So, the Professor had him and Jacintha closeted in privacy while the Moonchasers waited on the hallway. Then, without asking for permission, Jacintha navigated the system. "Si Samantha lang ang may access sa system." He told her unnecessarily. But, Jacintha merely looked at him and dealt him with her silent, slanted-eyed amusement.

Professor watched Jacintha bypassed the security protocol and his eyes widened in surprised when the robot recognized Jacintha and let her through the system. "Ikaw ang utak behind the system?" The truth dawned on him then, "You are the brain and the soul behind the Moonchasers." He breathed. 

After a while, Jacintha stoically endured the professor's scrutiny underneath his bushy eyebrows, looking around and saying nothing. All the while the professor pulled out a photo from the secured file, he was askance to see the uncanny likeness between Lia and Jacintha. And as if unable to help himself, he tapped the photo and said, "kamukhang kamukha mo ang dating Punong Bantay."

"Hindi na mahalaga kung sino ako. Nandito ako upang mapagisa ating pwersa upang magapi ang ating kalaban."

"Mahirap gawin 'yon lalo na't wala na si Samantha."

"Gusto kong makita si Samantha."

Consequently, Professor T. brought Jacintha into a protected room where Samantha lays in peaceful slumber. For a long silent moment, they both looked at her, filled their eyes and heart with her presence alone. Both suffering in silence at her death, both feeling the void that only her presence can fill in their lives. And for a small, magical moment, a bond created between them as they gazed at the eternal slumber of Samantha's angelic beauty.

Professor T.'s voice was like a knife in a fragile glass that broke the magical trance, "hindi ko alam kung bakit siya namatay."

"Isinakripisyo niya ang buhay niya upang protektahan ako."

"Ilang beses kong sinubuhan na buhayin siya pero hindi nagawa."

"Anong nangyari?"

Professor sighed, "sa huling sandali, tumibok ang puso niya. Yun ang dahilan kung bakit siya napatay ng Supremo. Hindi ko na siya magawang buhayin sa kadahilanang tao na siya nang siya ay mawalan ng buhay."

Jacintha looked as if she was holding in her emotions in utmost control, "iwan mo muna kaming magisa."

⟲ LLU HQ ⟳

Meanwhile, the LLU were monitoring the Moonchasers' as well as the SMV corporation for any signs of Tristan and the others' whereabouts. They received an information from Luningning Ramos that the Professor has agreed to meet the Supremo in a secret place. So, Malia immediately mobilized their units to assist the professor.

⟲ Moonchasers' HQ ⟳

In the interim, Robbie learned from Jake that his older brother went back to the Supremo in his quest to help them find Tristan. Needless to say, he was displeased. He expressed his disappointment over Malia's decision to allow his brother to leave the LLU Headquarters.

⟲ Captives ⟳

The game has started, Tristan and the others were transferred to a secret place as a bait to lure out the professor out of his hiding. In negotiations, the Supremo allowed the Professor and the captive Moonchasers to talk.

"Prof! Prof!" And from the other end of mobile line, the Professor's ears rang from the loud voices of his young members.

"Prof!" Tristan's voice was the loudest. "Wag kang pupunta dito, papatayin ka nila. Wag mo na kaming intindihin!"

"Tristan! Ano ba ang sinsabi mo? Kailangan tayong tulungan ni Prof. dahil siya ang leader natin!" Hayfe shrieked at him.

"Wag kang makasarili, Hayfe. Delikado ang buhay ni Prof." He answered back.

"Hindi ito ang tamang panahon para magaway, Moonchasers. Ang mahalaga ay buhay kayo and let us keep it that way." Professor T. calmly interposed. Then the line went back to the Supremo.

Later, left by Katrina and other vampires. Hayfe and the others worried about their situations. They didn't know what was happening and they were scared as it is.

⟲ LLU ⟳

While the Supremo and the Professor talked, the LLU were already at the venue where the former two was supposed to meet up. They scattered around the area and waited.

Malia instructed her men to look for the Professor and Tristan. Unbeknownst to her, Jacintha has already instructed the Professor that he will not surrender himself to the evil lord. More importantly, all will be save.
