Dolce Amore; The Parent Trap episode 122 recap
Operation 1010 is underway, step number one; Serena and Tenten needs to talk and in order to talk, they should sit side by side at the dinner table. That's what Jeijei and the Ibarra gang, Tatay Dodoy at Papsy Uge planned for the day. The Ibarra's are the first family that arrived at the resort where Connie arranged for their family outing. Tatay Uge was also on the scene before Serena and Senor Roberto arrived.
Upon arriving at the resort, Serena asked her father that she'll just wander around. She stopped by a beautiful fountain where she met Kulot and Simon by chance. "Bakit ka andito? Pati ba naman hanggang dito sinusundan mo kami?" Simon immediately shot at her.
"Kasama ko dito sila Papi kaya wag mo nga akong pagbintangan." Serena answered, irritated. Kulot must be getting used with the couple's bickering because she paid no attention unlike in the theme park, "Tita Serena, kasama ka ba namin na magbabakasyon?" Kulot asked Serena like an angel.
"Hindi, baka may kasama ang Tita Serena mo na..." Simon's voice trailed away suggestively but his meaning was not lost to Serena who answered forcefully, "kasama ko nga ang pamilya ko."
"Magswimming na lang tayo," Kulot encouraged them amidst their bickering.
After awhile, Serena and Simon stood by the pool and watched Kuloy play on the swimming pool. While, watching Kulot, Serena commented that Kulot looks so happy. "Masaya naman siguro dito kahit na wala ka." Simon answered snidely.
Serena's eyes shoot daggers at him, "kung alam ko lang na nandito kay-"
"Don't pretend na hindi mo alam, alam mo na pupunta kami dito. Sino ang nagsabi sa'yo."
"I'm telling you the truth. Kung alam ko lang na nandito kayo, hindi na sana ako sumama dito. Ayoko naman na masira ang kasiyahan nyo. And if you'll tell to go, I wont go because susunod dito sina Mamsy at may surpresa sila sa akin."
"Sinabi ko ba sa'yo na umalis ka? Hindi naman di ba? Pagaari ko ba ang resort na ito?"
With that, Serena sighed loudly then she went quiet and just content herself with watching Kulot in the pool.
Then, Tatay Uge and Senor Roberto greeted Simon excitedly, pretending that they didn't know that they are all in the same resort.
"Anak, we prepared you surprise here." Tatay Uge said to Serena when she announced that they will be leaving the place because Tenten was also in the room. Serena stopped packing her bag and sat on the bed while eeying her father suspiciously. "Anak hindi si Tenten ang surprise namin."
"Papi, tanong lang namin, paano naman napunta dito sa resort sina Tenten? Tadhana?" Leo interposed when Serena seemed undecided on what she will do.
Meanwhile, Simon ordered Connie to look for another resort because they will be transferring. Tatay Dodoy and Nanay Taps who were watching all his moves, appeared in the doorway and asked him for the reason why they need to transfer.
"Dahil nandito si Serena!" He said forcibly when Nanay Taps pushed him for his real reason to transfer.
"Ah, kaya naman pala, may delubyo na dumating!" Connie exclaimed, oblivious to Tenten's impending storm because of her cheekiness.
When Simon seemed decided to leave, Tatay Dodoy and Nanay Taps acted like they were hurt but they stated almost tearfully that they will follow what Tenten wants since he will be the one who'll pay for their vacation. Simon sigh and capitulated in the end but he gave his parents nonetheless. "Wag nyo po sana ipagpilitan yung sa amin ni Serena, may mga bagay talaga na hindi pwede."
Meanwhile, while the operation 1010 is well underway, Senora Luciana and Ms. Vivian spent the time together. While having their usual tete a tete, the Senora received an anonymous phone call informing her that the caller was the one who sent the coffin. "Tell me, what do you want? Who the hell are you?" She demanded to the caller.
"Sino 'yan, Luciana, I will call the police." Ms. Vivian said loudly as Senora Luciana succumbed to panic. Then after the call ended, she asked her what the caller wants. "I don't know, Vivian. Hindi siya nagpakilala." Senora Luciana said, "he want us to meet."
"But cara mia, that's dangerous."
"But I need to know who is this person. It could be more dangerous kung hahayaan ko lang. I need to settle this once and for all."
In the family bonding...
It was a festive dinner for everyone. Though there was some awkward moments for Simon and Serena.
Specially when everyone made sure that Serena and Simon, (whom they made sure were seated next to each other) can at least bridge the gap between two opposing entities.
Tatay Dodoy made his speech about family togetherness and thanked everyone who are present in the dinner table.
Then, everyone voted, including Simon for Serena not to answer River's call and even made an effort to talk to her for a change, "hindi naman emergency ang call, hindi ba?"
After dinner...
The Ibarra gang made a concoction of orange juice and sleeping pills.
When the elders retired for the night, they made sure that Simon drank a glass of juice and directed him to his room. Unbeknownst to him, they also tinkered with the room number, confusing Serena's room as his.
Drugged, Simon shed his shirt and slid next to the sleeping Serena, who retired early after dinner.
Serena woke sometime during the night, thought that she maybe dreaming. Said to Simon, "I missed you." She smiled and then slept.
