Simon greeted his Mother casually, oblivious to the tensions that his presence brought to the two women. With some trepidation Ms. Vivian looked back from where Senora Luciana was standing behind her and she breathe a silent sigh of relief when she saw that she was nowhere in sight.

Simon proceeded to inquire about her health and they also talked about the previous court hearing.

Senora Luciana cannot help but be affected to Simon's words as he talked to his Mother about his feelings about the whole situation. His feelings about Serena, Luciana and avenging his brother's death through indictment of Senora Luciana. She was so disturbed by Simon's words that she accidentally made noise when a couple of housewares toppled on the floor. Upon hearing the sound, Simon approached the kitchen, saw a couple of broken saucers on the floor, his face marred by a frown of surprised.

Ms. Vivian had some quick thinking and pretended that she was suddenly attacked by her illness. However her plan backfired when her son insisted that she should be taken at the hospital. En route the hospital and even before a doctor examine her, M. Vivian staunchly defended that she was alright.

Amidst her protests, she went under several laboratory checkups.

And her doctor confirmed and verified that she has no terminal illness.

Simon confronted his Mother about her deception. His Mother tearfully explained that pretending to have a terminal illness was her only option for him to give her a chance to get to know her long lost son.

At Dubois office...

Meanwhile, after Serena wasted the whole morning waiting for Simon to show up. She went to his office to sought him out. But to her dismay, Simon has yet to show himself so she decided to wait for him in his secretary's office.

While waiting, she talked to the absentee Simon to express her disppointments.

"Hindi ka tumupad sa usapan, Mr. Dubois. I didn't ask you na sunduin ako pero ikaw itong nagprisinta. Tapos ikaw itong hindi darating."

With full expressions she motion to the packaged she brought for him, "so here I brought you something. Baka kasi nakalimutan mong mag almusal katulad ng pagkalimot mo na sunduin ako."

Realizing the weirdness of her actions, she excused herself to do some refreshing in the restroom.

Inside the cubicle, a woman entered the restroom speaking loudly. She recognized it as the voice of Hannah and to her surprised, she was speaking in Italian.

"You don't need to tell me that. Alam ko ang ginagawa ko." Said Hannah to the other end of the line.

"Something's fishy..." Serena thought to herself as she waited for Hannah to leave the restroom. After a moment of thinking, she went back to Connie, gave her the food that she was supposed to give to Simon and fished for some information regarding Hannah. Then she called Simon to inform her of her hunch.

At the hospital

Serena went to the hospital where Simon and Ms. Vivian at.

She learned about Simon's mother's condition when he called him and she rushed to his side right away.

"Baka may rason kung bakit Ms. Vivian faked her illness. Pero kung ano man 'yon nagsinungaling pa rin siya." Serena said loudly to Hannah's back to gain her attention. Never to back down, Hannah gave her a sharp retort. Then they were engaged on eye to eye lock down until Simon came back who did not care about their female war, instructed Hannah to stay while they return to the office.

"Dito ka lang, you watch over my Mom."

"But-" Hannah tried to argue but got shot down.

"I said stay. Got it?"
